Mainline Repairs Are Complete

Final clean up has taken place to the mainline irrigation break in #16 fairway. The fittings that failed have been replaced and the line has been pressured back up. Due to the large size of the hole (7 feet deep by 12 feet across) backfilling had to take place in layers. The hole was filled one foot at a time and compacted at each layer, this was done so that settling does not take place in the future.

Once the hole was filled back to original grade, the sod that was stripped prior to excavation was replaced. This area will remain roped off for several weeks until the sod has a chance to establish itself.
